Corporate Twitter Accounts that Understood the Assignment

It's no secret that corporations have moved their marketing straight to the platforms we use the most. Only few companies have actually cracked the code to using Twitter and adapted their posts to advertise successfully. This is a list of companies that I think "understood the assignment."

1. Wendy's

People use Twitter to "clap back" at others using a quote tweet like this. Not many people expect it to come from a corporate Twitter account. Wendy's consistently takes shots at their competition because it shows their confidence and, well, the people love to see the drama.

2. Netflix

A lot of people have subscriptions to Netflix so it makes sense that they would use their Twitter account to advertise their upcoming and existing shows that they offer. Whoever runs the Twitter page got creative and advertised an upcoming season of their show along with one of their most watched show. They don't even mention the shows names but the viewers know exactly which ones they are.

3. Spirit Halloween

Halloween is among us and we all know where to go to get our costumes. Spirit Halloween only operates in late September through October so it is important that their marketing team is on top of creating the hype. What better than calling out people who don't like Halloween?

4. Oreo

Now this one may be a little biased because I absolutely loved Oreo Cakesters and I am hyped for their comeback. The Twitter team at Oreo really made this one for their long time fans by presenting a glow up of an old favorite. This just shows Twitter users really love two things; glow-ups and sugary desserts.

5. Pop-tarts

Pop-tarts have always been a breakfast favorite of mine. I enjoy seeing the tweets of new seasonal flavors. But this; I think the person running this account speaks for all of us when we read it. But hey, you have to love a corporate account that engages with its audience.
